How are brass tubes welded?
Brass pipe is one of the non-ferrous metals. It has strong and corrosion resistance. It has become the preferred material for water supply, heating, refrigeration pipes and some capillary copper pipe industries.
Brass pipes are made of brass sheets by welding and stretching. Phosphorus-copper solders or phosphorus-copper solders with low silver content, such as silver-based solders containing 2% to 5%, are preferable in price and have a good solution. Seam filling and wetting technology are adopted, and no flux is needed.
The size of welding torch and flame temperature for brass tubes with different diameters are also different. The size of flame can be adjusted by two needle valves. The adjustment of flame can be divided into carbonization flame and neutral flame oxidation flame according to the volume ratio of maintenance and acetylene gas, and can be adjusted according to their own needs.
